Carbon fiber patient tabletop

The Contesse provides fast, precise and reproducible set-up of patients. It is designed to be ideal for the various treatment methods within the advanced and technically demanding field of radiotherapy. The tabletop accommodates Cone beam CT, IMAT and IMRT treatments. The Contesse includes a Combi Board with integrated patient immobilization facilities for the following treatments: Brain, Head & neck, Breast, Lung. The Contesse, gives you the following facilities in your daily work with your patients: A rapid change between different patient set-ups by simply rotating the tabletop; Minimal manual workload for the staff no lifting of equipment to/from the tabletop, no indexing of immobilization tools of any kind. You should avoid large add-on immobilization devices and the increased absorption values due to the extra layers of carbon/acrylic materials on top of the tabletop; Maintain reproducible positioning throughout the entire treatment; Low absorption. Contesse is a full carbon fiber construction. A very rigid and strong material, which makes it possible to achieve low absorption values; Designed and built for maximum access for beams from all directions. Allows 360 degrees beam access; Designed for IGRT, IMRT and IMAT. No metal or heavy absorption areas in treatments-areas as required for IGRT (no artefacts); High rigidity and strength has been tested and approved up to 250 kg patient weight; Compatible with ConChest, ConBine and ConNeck
